Wandwords is primarily a developer of customized systems. Enhancements to and modifications of existing systems are our bread-and-butter. As long as source code is available we are happy to make changes and provide programming support. Customers are being supported by us on software originally written as long ago as 1978.

We can design and produce a simple set of Web pages for your Web-site based on HTML. The Wandwords web-site which you are now viewing has been developed in HTML. However by using PHP to link web pages with a data base we can produce completely web-enabled commercial systems. PHP is a server-side scripting language which supports a wide range of databases. The most common database currently used in PHP applications is Mysql. (™ MySQL)
The web application Your Corporate Intranet which is part of this web-site is written in PHP using a MySQL database. Because PHP supports any ODBC-compliant data base we can create web pages linking to your existing ODBC-compliant data base. PHP and MySQL can both be run on a wide variety of platforms including most of the Unix variants and Windows.
If you are already part of the loyal legion of users of Universe (© IBM Corporation) or Pick (™ Pick Systems ⁄ Raining Data) there is probably no need to tell you more.
Suffice it to say we have been developing in Universe ⁄ Pick for more years than we care to admit to.
